Artist Bio
Darryl Cobbs was born in Hampton Virginia & currently resides in Bellevue, Nebraska.
Darryl is a Comic Book Artist/Writer, Graphic Designer, and Storyboard Artist and Web Designer starting drawing super heroes’ character at an early age, age 7 to be exact, and began his 1st professional work by 1987 on a book called Battle Armor, issue #2.
His Professional Comic Work includes Green Lantern for DC Comics, Battle Armor for Malibu Graphics, Mortal Kombat for Marvel Comics, Grips Adventure, I Come In Peace, Psycho Pirate for Greater Mercury Comics, UN Force Files for Caliber Press, Sword of Light for Positive Productions Plus!, ATO for Sundragon Comics, Concept Art for gaming companies and multiple convention sketches.
His Professional Graphic Design Work includes an OPPD TV commercial, a Heating & Cooling Unit commercial, Gazelle Communication Billboard, Super Sarpy Classified ads & weekly comic strip, Auto designs for Mobile Media, logo & storyboards for Spirit Marketing, and Health Instead logo for Home Instead Senior Care,
Currently Darryl is working as a Concept artist, writing & artwork for his own comic company Impressive Comics.
